Challenges & Solutions

Challenge 1

Combining multiple AI APIs (Skin AI, VTO, Gemini) into a seamless color-to-outfit pipeline.

Solution

Built a Next.js orchestration layer that chains YouCam Skin AI color analysis → Gemini seasonal palette reasoning → VTO try-on, with Cloudinary handling image preprocessing between API calls.

Challenge 2

Delivering accurate seasonal color classification from a single selfie under varying lighting conditions.

Solution

Combined YouCam Skin AI undertone detection with Gemini reasoning to map skin characteristics to the four-season palette system with explainable color recommendations.
